I successfully dialed into my 170 using a PPP connection and my ECS modem. What I need now is a solution that will allow me to have multiple analog lines dial in using one piece of hardware attached to the 170. I have looked at the 2210's and 2212's and they seem like overkill. I don't need the LAN connectivity, ISDN, and some of the other bells and whistles. This unit will just be sitting there in case we have a disaster of some sort and need to directly access the AS/400. It doesn't have to be IBM. I would like to purchase something that has built-in modems and does not need a windows unit to configure it. I looked at several catalogs and I would really appreciate some direction here.
