How can I access data (AS400 database) using TCP/IP, exclude ODBC and any component of client access? There are any component in Lotus Notes to do this? Thanks!

Without CA/400, without ODBC, or the OLE ADO connection within CA/400, you could use a shareware TN5250 (Telnet 5250) program to establish an AS/400 session to access the data. You did not state your purpose for data access. Dave -

Note that anything accessing the database must know how to talk to the database, so you'll always be using some sort of intermediary ( unless you want to write LOTS of code yourself. ) Notes has NOI, which allows it to talk with Java and one can go JDBC from there.
