What's the best way to tranfer a file from the AS/400 to a stand-alone NT server ? This will be a batch job executed every invoice run transfering a modified spool file to the NT server for input to an imaging application.

File transfer to NT server
Hi Robert, Before you copy a spooled file to the NT server it must be copied to a flat physical data file. This is basically a physical file with one field x amount of characters long, or that is how we do it here. Once the spooled file is copied to the file, then you can transfer it using Client Access or FTP. I prefer FTP. I have some documents that go in to more detail on this, and how we have automated it.
