I work for Trailblazer Systems and ZMOD FTP actually will convery DDS layouts to CSV or tab-delimited within the software. It formats the data for the remote system and can actually support ASCII to EBCDIC, DDS-->XML, without you having to write extra programs. Hi!. I am sending a file via FTP to pc client. However, a client needs a text tab delimited format. I pass the file and ... using a batch file, I rename the file as .txt format...but it doesn't put the tab characters between fields. Ideas?. -

Jose, You can use the cpytoimpf command to convert a file to tab delimited format prior to sending to your PC. That command has changed quite a bit over the last few years so a lot of the capabilities you see will depend on your release and PTF level. David MorrisComment
