Inactivity Timeout - QINACTITV, QINACTMSGQ, QDSCJOBITV

We are using Client Access over TCP/IP. System values are set as follows; QINACTITY = 60, QINACTMSGQ = *DSCJOB, and QDSCJOBITV = 120. The confusion is that we expect our job to be disconected and allow the user to log in again within 2 hours and continue with the previous activity prior to the disconect. The inactive jobs are all being ended rather than disconected.

As a test, issue the disconnect job (DSCJOB) command at your TCP session. You should see CPF1358 - DSCJOB not allowed for Server jobs. When the DSCJOB is issued by the system, it encounters this scenario and instead issues a cancel job. Trevor
