Em I am trying to change the QINACTITV through a scheduled job every evening. I have scheduled a job run under a user with SECADM authority which issues the command CHGSYSVAL SYSVAL(QINACTITV) VALUE('030')). This job keeps canceling due to the value parameter. Can you tell me what is wrong with this command or maybe you cannot run it as a scheduled job? Thanks

If so you have one too many right parenthesis at the end. When two go together one sees before the other.
