We have multiple systems. On some DSPJOB option 4 (Work with spooled files) allows change/delete while on others only display is allowed. How is this set? Can we change this option?

How is this set? Can we change this option? If SysReq-3 gives a command line, then probably this is just the second token in the message CPX2313 is *LIBL/QCPFMSG. This implementation surprisingly, is AFaIK still used; meaning there really is no good way to prevent it from those who know about it, except to restrict CRTMSGF and OVRMSGF. Otherwise there could have been a duplicate of WRKJOB made to the name QSYS/DSPJOB , or the QSYS/DSPJOB is user created which effects a different function for DSPJOB OPTION(*SPLF) . I doubt the latter... Review the message descriptions with WRKMSGD CPX2313 QSYSxxxx/QCPFMSG, and also DSPCMD for QSYS/DSPJOB and QSYS/WRKJOB -- the commands should have QSYS/QWCCDSJC as the program.
