Can anyone help me with what this profile is? I seem to vaguely remember it from once before but can't place my finger on it. It has come up on some Security Reports for a customer I work with. Thanks

The company I'm consulting at has six AS400's, ranging from 53S(2) to S30(2) to a 730 and 740. One is running at v4r2, all others are at v4r3 and the user profile your asking about is not defined on any of the machines. It might be used for a software product installed. You might want to check who created this object, maybe that would help.

John is right. Use the DSPOBJD command against the user profile. Check out the user created and the system created on. Most (but not all) operating system objects are created by user '*IBM' on system '00000000'. Chances are you'll see that this object was created on your own system. jte
