  • Password Expiration Interval

In reviewing our user profiles, I displayed all user profiles to an output file so I could run various queries. One thing I noticed is in the Password Expiration Interval there are a few profiles with a value of "1-" listed. I do not see this value when I do DSPUSRPRF interactively. Can anyone tell me what this value represents? I haven't been able to find a description anywhere. Thanks for your help

This is the value used to identify "*NOMAX". Luc.

Sorry, take a look at the user profile that gives you that. It may be for "*SYSVAL". Anyway, there are two special values : "*SYSVAL" and "*NOMAX". One must be identified by 0, the other by -1. Hope this helps, Luc.

Thank you. That appears to be correct, 1- indicates *NOMAX and 0 is *SYSVAL.
