    As fate would have it, our IBM guy that does all of the hardware is over here today. He said the 400 would run at 90 degrees without sweat (pun intended). However, to be safe, he said to get notified at 85 degrees. Joe

    Heat Tolerance?

    The building manager informed us that the AC had a problem last night and that the temp in computer room hit about 80 degreees. He asked us to let him know at what temp we would need to be notified so we could take action. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks, Joe

      They are optimised for around 70, but we had one survive 120!!

        Joe,
        I can tell you from experience that AS/400s will run at 95 degrees.
