Ecora Launches New Enterprise Solutions Package

Ecora Software, a proven market-leader for IT configuration auditing and compliance reporting solutions, announces the launch of a new Enterprise Solutions package. This new offering delivers a comprehensive suite of software and services for customers looking for cost effective coverage of enterprise IT infrastructure. Enterprise Solutions combines existing Ecora products into a single, easy-to-use solution that reduces total cost of ownership, while increasing value delivered.

Today's enterprise technology configurations are highly complex and dynamic. Increased virtualization demands even more rapid configuration and change monitoring. Solutions such as Auditor Professional, part of Ecora's Enterprise Solutions package, become indispensible in controlling technology environments. The tools provide substantial value by reducing IT compliance costs, documenting effective change management, and ultimately increasing systems availibility. Adding up the various savings results in substantial savings and reduced risk.

Traditionally, customers purchase such products on a per-server or per-workstation basis. Large organizations may own hundereds of licenses covering various systems and workstations. Enterprise Solutions enables customers to purchase an enterprise-based subscription with unlimited use based on two simple parameters; the size of the business and the approximate number of servers. Based upon this information, customers are placed in one of three tiers; silver, gold, or platinum. This allows Ecora to directly align the value delivered with the product cost to the business. A small hospital pays a lower subscription fee, yet addresses crucial HIPAA compliance and disaster recovery requirements by covering hundreds of servers, routers, switches, and workstations.

The centerpiece of the solution is Auditor Professional, a leading solution used to discover, collect, analyze, and report system configuration data. It delivers immediate value through pre-defined policies and rich reporting for effective configuration management and compliance with internal and external requirements, such as SOX, PCI, GLBA, FISMA/FISCAM, and HIPAA. Auditor Professional is the pioneer in agentless IT change and compliance management covering a broad range of systems, including Windows, Unix, Oracle, SQL, Cisco, Citrix, and many more. Agentless configuration management is especially appropriate for large-scale Enterprises, where managing individual agents is costly and disruptive.

Enterprise Solution customers also receive access to Ecora's leading Patch Manager solution, professional services, disocunted training, and custom development. Patch Manager automates system discovery, patch assessment and patch installation on workstations and servers. 

Additionally, the solution includes the highly anticipated Ecora Control Center (ECC). This browser-based interface into Auditor Professional increases transparency of reports and dashboards, allowing more flexible multi-user access. It fits well the suite of Enterprise Solutions in addressing the complete IT change management and compliance needs of customers. ECC will serve as a foundation for future enhancements targeted to simplify the overall user interface of Enterprise Solutions.
