Halcyon Software Announces New Appointment to Expand US Territory

Halcyon Software, a global leader in systems management software, today announced Paul Ratchford has been appointed as Technical Services Manager.  In this role Ratchford is responsible for working with the sales team to provide pre-sales support and on-going technical advice to Halcyon's customers, business partners and managed services providers (MSPs) throughout North and South America.  Ratchford is based in Raleigh, North Carolina and will report to Donnie MacColl, Technical Services Director.

Ratchford has more than 30 years' experience working in the field of systems management for IBM mid-range computers with specific expertise on the IBM i platform and IBM Power Systems hardware.  Prior to joining Halcyon, Ratchford worked for other systems management providers as a Technical Consultant such as Help Systems and CCSS in the US and also Syan in the UK.

 

Ratchford earned a Higher National Certificate in Computer Science from Norwich City College.  He has provided technical consultancy services to Fortune 500 companies including leading financial institutions, insurance companies and retailers in the United States and large corporate companies spanning many different industry sectors across Europe.
